Getting Your IELTS Results

Whether you take IELTS on Paper or IELTS on Computer, receiving your results is quick and easy. IELTS results will not be disclosed over the phone or through email.

When Will I Get My IELTS Results?

​

• IELTS on Paper: 13 days after your written test

• IELTS on Computer: 1-2 days after your test

• IELTS for UKVI on Computer: 1-2 days after your test

Understanding Your IELTS Scores

​

IELTS scores are reported on a 9-band scale, reflecting your level of English proficiency:

• 1 = Lowest

• 9 = Highest

You will receive a score for each section—Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking. These are equally weighted and averaged to give you an overall band score. The same scoring applies across all IELTS test versions. For more details on how scores are calculated, click here.

Accessing Your Results Online

​

• View your results online for 28 days, though this should not be used as official confirmation.

• Log in to your IDP account with your passport or ID number (the one you used for test registration).

• For any issues, contact your test centre.

Re-marking Your IELTS Test

​

If you're unsatisfied with your scores, you can request a re-mark via the Enquiry on Results (EOR) process. Senior examiners, unaware of your original scores, will re-mark your test. If your score changes, you will receive a new Test Report Form (TRF). The EOR process takes 2-21 days.

• 120 EURO Fee: If your score changes, the fee will be refunded.

Collecting Your Test Report Form (TRF)

​

You can pick up your TRF the week following its release at your test venue, or arrange to collect it from our Head Office in Nicosia. Alternatively, we can send it via courier upon request. TRFs are stored for two years and are then destroyed.

• Bring the ID you used for test registration to collect your TRF.

• Contact us before collection to confirm your TRF's arrival at the venue.

Checking Your Results Online

​

• IELTS on Paper: Results available 13 days after the test.

• IELTS on Computer: Results available 1-2 days after the test.

• UKVI (Computer): Results available 1-2 days after the test.

Downloading Your IELTS e-TRF

​

For eligible test centres, you can download a digital version of your TRF (e-TRF) from your IELTS profile.

Steps to download your e-TRF:

1. Log in to your IELTS profile

Authorising Someone to Collect Your TRF

​

You can authorise someone to collect your TRF on your behalf. They must present:

1. A letter of authorisation and a photocopy of your ID.

2. Their original ID for verification.

Additional Copies of Your TRF

​

You are entitled to:

• One copy of your TRF.

• Up to five electronic copies sent to institutions listed on your IELTS application.

• Please do not forget to give the full postal address of the institution. Without the complete address we are not able to check whether the institution has access to the IELTS Test Report Form Verification Service that allows it to view your results after we have submitted them electronically. In case they do not access this service, we will send your TRF by post.

• For more hard copies, you will need to pay an administration fee of 26 EURO and additional postage or courier fees may apply.
